Research collaboration

Challenge the work. Extend it. Test it.

VALO Research invites independent researchers and institutions to scrutinize assumptions, test claims and contribute methods, evidence and competing explanations.

Ways to contribute

Clear roles, bounded commitments.

Research collaborator

Work on a defined research question

Jointly define scope, methods, artifacts, authorship and publication expectations around a specific problem.

Affiliated researcher

Contribute within an ongoing program

Join a bounded program while retaining institutional identity and transparent disclosure of the relationship.

Independent reviewer

Test claims without joining the project

Review methods, evidence, architecture or terminology. Critical findings are treated as research output, not resistance.

University partner

Build a formal research collaboration

Supervision, student projects, shared experiments, formal methods, evaluation and independent replication.

Benchmark contributor

Provide tasks, datasets or evaluation methods

Help define measurable conditions for authority, evidence, recovery, integrity and long-horizon action.

Visiting fellow

Develop a concentrated line of inquiry

A time-bounded collaboration around a question that benefits from close access to the research program.

What to send

A useful first message is short.

Describe the question, why it matters, what you can test or contribute and what kind of output you expect. A finished proposal is not required.

Research question or critique
Relevant method, field or prior work
Proposed contribution
Expected artifact or publication
Conflicts, funding or institutional constraints
Process

From question to bounded collaboration.

1. Establish the questionDefine scope, assumptions, maturity and the exact uncertainty being examined.
2. Agree the research contractSet methods, access, authorship, independence, confidentiality and publication expectations.
3. Publish with limitsRelease the result with provenance, status, evidence, disagreement and unresolved questions visible.
