These services are offered by Njål Gaute Solland, operating under the name VALO Research.
Scope
These terms cover public VALO Research websites, demonstrations and services that link to them. Separate signed terms govern where they exist.
Research and demos
Public demos and research surfaces may be experimental, incomplete, changed or withdrawn. They are provided to demonstrate and test capabilities, not as a promise that a production service has the same characteristics.
Permitted use
You may use public surfaces lawfully and in accordance with their stated purpose. You must not attempt unauthorised access, bypass controls, disrupt services, introduce malicious code, or use a service to infringe another person's rights.
Outputs and decisions
Automated, analytical or AI-generated output may be incomplete or wrong. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, it is not professional, legal, medical, financial or other regulated advice and must not be treated as sole authority for consequential decisions.
Intellectual property
VALO Research retains rights in original site content, designs, software and research except where another licence or third-party right is stated. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licences.
Availability
No uptime or support commitment applies to public research and demo services. Any production commitment must be stated in a separate agreement or applicable SLA.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, public research and demo services are provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Law
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise or a separate agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by Norwegian law.
